Dr. Sharbowski is a life long Michigan resident. She is a transplant from the “East Side” and the only career she ever wanted in life was to be a veterinarian.She attended Michigan State University where she earned both her BS in Zoology with honors in 1997 and her DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 .She has split her 22-year career, so far, between general practice in the first half and emergency medicine for the past 11 years. She lives in Milford in a one-of-a-kind 180-year-old farmhouse that she has been slowly renovating over the past decade. She loves reading, going to the movies, listening to podcasts and outdoors activities like hiking, kayaking, and camping. She is a devoted mother to two amazing teenagers. Her oldest is attending MSU as a second-generation Spartan (Go Green), while her youngest is in high school. Her house is also home to her “boys”- Neal, Powder and Titan (the cats) and Logan, Baymax and Mr. Darcy (the dogs). All of her pets are rescues and living their best lives.
